Should i look at maybe getting a boost fooler for running the edge as well? If i do this will render my boost gauge on the edge irelevant will it not? Does anyone know if my DR.P #2017 module has boost fooling capabilities already? And how would it stack with the edge products? Or Should i not even think about stacking till i upgrade some more or have fuel pressure gauge? Thanks.

Id still buy a boost fooler it self. That way the dealer doesnt see 45psi of boost so it doesnt throw any codes

Well ive been dealing with a guy here in edmonton at Diesel tech the last couple of days and he pretty well has me convinced to go with the quad race setup and monitor. And he also tells me I cannot get a performance set of clutches for my truck cause he says it is to new. Can this be? And what do you guys think about the Quad setup? Thanks.

Call southbend and talk to their guys, they will be more informed on clutches than a shop will be. I've got a Southbend dual disc, ands its been great. It shifts slower than my stocker, but it will put up with a lot more abuse than a single disc will.

With the dollar as good as it is now, its definitely worth looking at the american vendors as well. As soon as it comes across the border, it seems it gets a premium price tag. PDR is especially bad for this.

I'm running the Quad tow module and Commander (monitor). I have the pillar mount for the Commader and love the set-up. My pillar mount lifted off the OEM pillar after tightening the screw down. Once it's warmer, I'm just going to take everything off, clean up the OEM mount a double side tape the area that's lifting.

My tow module came with older programming and caused the truck to go into a limp mode and threw codes originally - smoke everywhere. After a few PM's back and forth with Quad himself, I got new software uploaded from the site and it's been flawless in operation ever since.

My mods are in my sig, fairly minor compared to a lot of other AB Members, but still will fill a riceburner full of soot if he leaves his window open.

Btw, my G56 has not slipped at all yet and it is stock. However, my mods are geared toward mileage and towing *****. Just a different purpose for the most part from what you're looking for.

Kevin (morkable), keeps trying to steer me another direction though.

Well Festus to be honest with you iam looking for the same as you right now, I want the get up and go for pulling as i spend alot of it in the bush puilling and highway. Once i get the clutchs in and by next year i wont be pulling much for work i want to put a little more into'er. The quad setup you have hasnt caused you any grief that is good to hear. I think that is the one im gonna go for.

I honestly can't say you'll make a better choice - I researched them all and couldn't find anything that would suit what I was looking for better.

I see you have an '07 Mega 5.9 as well. Once installed, let me know what your fuel pressure is doing. I'm fairly confident I'm not hurting anything, but I'm currently looking to upgrade my fuel delivery as I can easily draw my pressure down on power level 3 - just makes me uncomfortable. I usually don't turn it up that high unless I'm on the highway anyway....I can't shift gears fast enough when empty rollin' around town....sure drops the attitude of Mustang and rice burner drivers a notch or two though.

As far as products go, check with Top (Lary Ellis). I ordered my Quad stuff from Thoroughbred Diesel before I knew he'd beat most anyone's price. I can't complain about about the package deal I got from them either.

Thanks Festus. Is Top here in the city. Diesel tech quoted me@ just under $1100 for the package installed. Is this a decet price? I'am very curiuos as to seeing what the truck does my self as i curretly do not have any guages right now. What kind of pressure are you seeing for fuel? And what about your EGTS what are you seeing on average? Thanks.
