I'm still in-going out to start the truck in 1/2 hr. or so. I'm bringing my car dolly up as I may be buying a parts Dakota. Got some other Dakota stuff to pick up as well while I'm up there.

Thanks again Marc for the food, the tour, the toque and the warm shop to hang. Good to catch up with the Edmonton boys again. The Calgary guys missed out on a good event, and the roads weren't even bad, other than the snow at Tim Hortons.

Thanks much Marc-it was a good time. Like Tate said, the roads were a non-issue. I went through a 2 or 3 mile stretch on 21 that could have been a little slippery-and a chunk of secondary between 595 and the Pine Lake store that wasn't that great-but other than that, all good. Looks like the oil pressure sending unit bit it on the ride home-noticed during a gauge check that I was down from 60 to 30 psi-no funny noises or anything else out of the ordinary so I stopped and had a quick look for leaks and found none. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a look at it if I can get the shop warmed up.
And pulling my dolly up was a waste of time....the slight body damage that was mentioned to me was actually a rollover . Buddy figured it would start, but he knew the battery was dead. I didn't feel like taking either him or myself to emergency to get the acid washed out of our eyes when the frozen battery exploded-so I just left. Wasn't that far out of the way anyways....Should have worked the Bargain Finder or Kijiji a little harder so I didn't go home emptyhanded!
