3000 vs 4000

any time anyone wants to come by the address is 1505 42ave se calgary ... when i am all in the shop i was thinking of have a gtg at the shop ,,, but that noyt going to be for a month or so let

you need the spring seats to go along with it. those small spings won't go into stock seats. you can see the difference between my stock (right) and my 3k (left) pretty clearly. if the 4k goes in the middle the OEM seat is pretty tight.

but he put in a 3k right? then he could pull his and I could pull mine and swap them out right?

Luke, you missing the little springs from your stock GSK? My 215 came with 3 springs in each flyweight.

mine only ever had 2. I drilled the OEM locks off it myself. I doubt anyone was in it before me. this was not a 215 pump though. 160 '95 pump. If that makes a difference.

Do you guys use a caliper to measure the preload on the gov springs or go by clicks? You have any sensitive throttle after doing the gov spring changes?

So what happens with the gov spring if you run too much pre-load? Was there a preload spec for setting the spring pressure/tension to.
