Thank you! I'm hoping to coordinate some work (studs) with Joe so I'll be down at some point...

right on kenny. see what they say. thats the same dyno we have at work. except ours uses city water to load the drums. I'm sure it'll react differently to high powered pickups than any automotive dyno, I bet it'll read up to anythign you want it to. there was a 1400hp dump truck on our dyno before. doing tuning.

Wonder how our trucks will handle, starting from high rpm and coming down. Possible driveline and engine carnage.

I'd think they'd handle it fine, long as everything is up to snuff. it'd be interesting too see though.

We should be able to change that setting cant we Luke? I was hoping we could just set a 30 or 40% load factor on the rolls and then just rip up like they do on the auto dynos. Piers called the Waterous dyno a "race truck killer" and didn't put his truck on.

I know 35%LF held 410 RWHP all day long.

I thought someone was talking to Horsepower Solutions, was there any more on them?

Edit, I just sent him a message. We'll see what he says.

Campbell said they have done some 6-700hp diesels without a problem. They are going to get back to me (see if guys will work on weekend). They seem the most promising so far

it wasn't just duallies. it was all pickups. I talked to him. they use their 4 post hoist to lift the vehicles and back them on to the dyno that is above ground behind the hoist.

Pickups will hit the back wall with their bumper before the tires reach the rollers.
