1/4 tank

I fixed my 1/4 tank problem temporarly, I removed the OEM pump fuse so it is not pumping fuel also. I cut the supply line on it so I could use it as a return line for the FASS. I found that the stock fuel pump will suck the cannister dry in about 10seconds if it is not returning back to itself. Having the two pumps sucking and one (OEM) just spraying fuel in the tank was causing the cannister to run dry at 1/4 tank.
Next set of days off hopeing to have time to swap out new cannister and get things set up properly and with an ability to swap between the OEM pump and the FASS.
As they say nothing can cause a problem quicker then half doing things when you are in a rush, nothing can fix a problem quicker then having time to do it.

Thats the truth----just came in from crawling out from under my 07 tonight(BD steering brace installed) and now trying to figure out where to mount the Glacier Diesel 2 micron/water separator combo.Under the hood is out cause of my Amsoil bypass kit mounted near the intake.Probable mount it near the transfer case as there is a lot of room up there and is tucked behind from any road hazards.I have a lot on my plate that i would like to get installed before i head out to 1 hour northwest of Peace River in month to shoot a couple of 5x5 bucks hanging around my folks place.

I have lots to do on my truck still, clean up the fuel lines I have hanging down from the FASS install, fix the cannister, re wire a few things, run some aux wiring to the bed for camper. remove a few pieces, then add a few, make up a grease fitting for wheel bearings, not to mention clean the gazillion bugs on the front end.
Plus try and look for another truck camper or toy hauler.
Good luck hunting, heading to BC in Oct for some Moose, Elk or what ever else we can find.

Here are some pics of my fuel tank module modification I did, I am promised that this hose will provide me years of service with no issues. I still have not installed it waiting to get the time to do it. But I am concerned with the hose kinking in the tank if the fuel is sloshing around but have to leave that much extra to allow for it to flex when installed into the tank.
What do you guys think?

is that clear line the return or suck side? it looks like it might collapse if used on the suck side
also Vulcan has a 30-40$ part that cures the 1/4 tank issue and removes the stock intank pump.
I'll see if I can find the link.

found it
