Advice on the right wheel for 2500 Dodge Longhorn
Gidday from Australia. I have just purchased (yet to be delivered) a 4X4 2500 Longhorn. I realise the subject of wheels has been fairly extensively covered but here in Australia our State Government is very letigious (which means they are short of money) and the law here is that the wheels and tyres must not prodtrude past the guards. I am finding it difficult to work out the back spacing and off-sets required to keep the wheels inside the guards of this truck. I would love to fit a set of 2Crave NX1-20 20" x 10" chrome wheels with a set of 35" Toyo Open Country Tyres. I have looked at The Discount Wheel Warehouse website and they say these have "a low offset." My question is, does anybody have these fitted to one of these vehicles and/or can anybody advise me on where these wheels and tyres would line up with the guards of this truck. Any photos would be great. For your general information, this truck was ordered in mid February of this year and, after being converted to right-hand drive, won't be delivered until mid August. I am very excited to say the least. Also, of interest, this vehicle costs around AUD $145,000 on the road. Guys, this is my first post, I hope this is okay and I would like to come back with more questions if I may.
Any Wheel co should be able to help you out there. Mine stick out, I love it that way, They should not but have never been stoped for it.
Please post a pick of the truck when done, Would love to see how the right side drive converison comes out and how it looks.
