Toyo Open Country ATII discontinued?

I just spoke with my local Discount Tire about getting some Toyo Open Country AT II 285/75/17 E rated. DT called Toyo and they said they didn't make that size?? I then asked about 285/70/17 E rated and Toyo said they had 4 left. DT told me that they were discontinuing that size. I've read on here that quite a few guys like these tires and they ride/last well on our trucks. I've used BFG's on my 1/2 ton Truck and always had good luck. I guess I'll be getting another set of BFG's for the CTD. Any info appreciated.

Discount is not an authorized Toyo dealer and would prefer customers buy Nitto products which they get at a discounted rate.
The shop I use just installed a set of 285-75-17 AT2's last week. They are backordered I believe though.
Nitto's got a new tire coming out though that looks similar to the Duratrac's. It's on the back page of the new Diesel Power.
Toyo's got a new one coming out that's between an AT2 and an MT.

www.onlinetires.com is showing Toyo AT2's in 285-75-17's.

Thanks Danderson for the info. DT did mention Nitto, even after I told them what I was looking for. I'm interested in something like the new Toyo. Something between an AT and MT that will last. Problem is I'm going to need tires in a week or so. Thanks again
