So on my 2003 1500 I had a compartment under the middle seat on the bench and really want it on my 2012. Does anyone or has anyone done this mod as an add on that they didn't get from the factory? I know the non bench trucks have it but is there an option for the new trucks with the 40/20/40 bench seat?

 

Yeah, I had that on my 2003 I had to have that on my 2011. I almost bought an ST without it, but that was the deal breaker. That's where the Glock goes.

Not sure how to upgrade other than pulling one from a wrecking yard.

 

Lol that's the exact same reason I want it again. The gen 4 19 needs a home.

 

I looked at a 2014 SLT that had the lower storage and it was shallow in comparison to my 2005. There are heat ducts that run under it. I don't think the effort to get it is worth it. My seat in the 2005 is my favorite part of it. No one knows it is there and you can bolt a gunbox in it.
