Relocated fuel tank vent.

I just installed the fuel tank vent relocation kit from Glacier Diesel. The kit is listed as applicable for '03-'09 model years, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Dropping the tank is pretty straight-forward if it is near empty. I put the new vent just above and inboard of the filler neck connection on the tank. I had to cut off about 6" of the metal vent tube that is attached to the filler neck and NOT use the 90 degree fitting in the kit to get the hose to route correctly. On the first fill it took 35.5 gallons before the nozzle kicked off. Sweet.

I've installed a tank vent kit on my last 3 CTD's. It really speeds-up full fills a bunch. That's the first thing I've done to the truck, and the next one will be the same way.
