I just took a 2010 2500 cdt trx for a drive, Wow! I can't believe how quiet it is. I am replacing an '06 f250 psd. There is no comparison! I hope to pick it up by the end of the week.

 

Sweet! It is shocking isn't it? The sound difference between all of the models since 06. Just better and better.

A sound comparison test with decibel meters and a few seasoned drivers ear's for extra -style- points would be cool. Anyone read anything like that in any magazines?

The one I test drove was louder than my 06 at take off, but quieter once under way....there's a dually with a manual trans sitting at my local lot....Sure looks nice.

 

Our new to us 05 is a real treat. Even walking on it the only odd sound is turbo whine (which warms the cockles of my heart).
