Anyone have issues with the touch screen Radio/Nav locking up. Mine has done this 4 times now 3 on the radio setting where the sound will go away and nothing will work. You cant change screens or anything. Turning the truck off will reset it and then its fine. Last Friday it locked up when I was on the phone I had to change my phone to speaker to continue the call, but this time the unit stayed on when I shut the truck off. I had to pull the fuse to reset the unit. Any ideas. FYI I have had it at the dealer and they need to duplicate to fix. My 4 vidios of the unit not working I guess are not enough.

there is a CD update the dealer has. Some (blakes dad got one) recieved them in the mail. Tell the dealer you want the update. It depends on what head unit you have as there are 2 CD's for the different models. I am surprised that the dealer did not know about this or even think about it but never know with some.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
· The radio may lock up when a U-Connect call ends, this may cause battery drain.· Intermittent no sound from audio system.
· Repeated **“Updating Channels”** message when in satellite radio mode.
· **iPhone4 (4.2.1) losing Bluetooth connection intermittently and not displaying
accurate caller ID information when using UConnect**
DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer experiences any listed Symptom/Condition(s) perform the following:
1. Check the radio software version.
a. Press “Menu” button on the radio.
b. Press “System Setup” touch screen soft key.
c. Press “System Information” touch screen soft key.
d. The software level is the number reported after the word “Application”.
2. Is the radio software version **2.402**, or greater?
a. YES >>> This service bulletin does not apply. Further diagnosis may be required.
b. NO >>>> Perform the repair procedure.

NOTE: Only one update disc is required and this disc may be used to service
multiple vehicles.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: If the software update process is interrupted/aborted, the process should be
restarted.
1. Start the vehicle and turn the radio ON.
2. Install the software disc into the radio CD drive and follow the instructions on the
screen.
NOTE: Do not cycle the ignition or touch the radio during the update process.
3. Once the update is completed, which may take 5 - 12 minutes, eject the disc.
4. Verify that the radio software version is at **2.402**.
a. Press “Menu” button on the radio.
b. Press “System Setup” touch screen soft key.
c. Press “System Information” touch screen soft key.
d. The software level is the number reported after the word “Application”.
5. Using wiTECH clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules during
software upgrade .

I have the navigation on my truck and the radio would lock up from the bluetooth. update was tried but failed. Got a new radio last week.

Does anyone know if the update can be done without my removing the "lockpic" I've installed?

Per Coastal e Techs site, the installation of the lockpic shouldn't hinder any updates.
