Need some info please

My farrier just bought a 2013 3500 with the 6.7 and has td me that he took it in to the local dealer who charged $190 for changing the fuel filters!?!
I told hom I'd ask around and see if y'all might know some better alternatives
He is more than mechanically enough inclined to bč able to do the work himself
So what's the cheapest source for filters?

The fuel filter mounted on the engine is about $50+ from Cummins which is where I buy from, however on my sons 2013 he also has a fuel filter mounted up by the tank and looks pricy. My son does lots of miles and only changes the engine mounted filter.. so far. Shop labor here is about $150ph I think as I never use a shop so although I wouldn't pay it $195 sounds ok... if you desired to change BOTH filters. Here is a link to one of the site sponsors Genos garage the frame mounted filter is $55-60 and the engine mounted filter $51. http://www.genosgarage.com/products.asp?dept=107

Ive seen them a little cheaper on eBay. My local Dodge dealer quoted me around $130 for both filters. Parts only

Did my fuel filter this summer with 25k on it. Local dealer got me for $75 bucks to replace a Cummins filter I brought in since it was half of what they were going to charge me for it.

They had it cranked on from the factory and I couldn't bust it off, so I took it in for fear I'd do a Bullwinkle and break something, and then would need to tow it in.
