Larry I'm a little stupid I guess about these Dodge's but whats your transmission?
6-Speed Automatic 68RFE Transmission $ 1,575
Why is it so much more than everyone else's and whats different about it?

I don't know why the $1575 upcharge for the auto on mine, I'm going to ask about it. I see the charge in the 2500 series is $405, so does the 1 ton get $1,170's worth of stronger parts???? I have no clue - yet.

One small difference I see is that I'm getting my shifter on the tree instead of a floor shifter - Can't see where that would make much of a difference either.

It will be cool yo get to check it out next week - then it heads off to Ryno mobility for the wheelchair conversion. They will have it for about two months.

It is because the 3500 comes standard with the Cummins, The bottom line on a 2500/3500 same truck is the 3500 is about $500 more. I built them both to see what the cost dif was. There are other things the 3500 comes standard with too like limmited slip ect. But like I said in the end the same trucks are within $500 or so.

The anti-spin rear differential is an important option (at least to me).

And redlineguy......the anti-spin differential is not standard on the 3500's, as evidenced above in stargeezer's MSRP sticker.

If you build one on the Dodge site Anti-spin is standard on the 3500.

I stand corrected......looks like the LSD is indeed standard on the 3500's. I was so used to looking at the options side with individual prices that I hastily over looked it.

No problem - I asked for help. How can we help it if they keep moving the goal line. Beside that - you should have seen the bone headed mistake I made earlier this week

I got the word today that my truck is on a railcar, in the yard at Tampa Fl. The salesman informed me that he has approval to pick the truck up at the yard as soon as it is released from the railroad. With any luck I'll sign for it on monday. Then it's off to Ryno Mobility for their wheelchair conversion.

I stopped by Ryno today and met the owner and some of the staff. A solid operation with all kinds of toys and skills. I saw a Megacab that was under construction - GOOD looking job. They are pros working to make a first class product.
