loading Photos into Nav/Radio System

I tried to load some photos into my nav/radio system and I couldn't get it to recognize my USB stick. The USB icon did not light up but the light on the stick lit up so there was power. Can anyone give me any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Try adding an audio file on the stick and the photos.

That worked!. Now it recognizes the USB stick. It will play the audio but it won't recognize the image files on the stick.

I've never tried using a stick but hooking my blackberry up it will load pictures and audio. Do you have smartphone you can use for the transfer?

I am battling with this too. For the life of me I cannot get the radio to recognize pictures. I have tried a memory stick and an iPod with no success. What am I doing wrong?
