New guy
I registered on the forum a couple years ago when I was truck shopping. Ended up getting a Charger SRT8. I'll call it my mid life crisis car. She went bye bye yesterday and a new 2500 sits in front of the house. Happy birthday to me! Present from myself to myself.
Stock for now... Taking it in to get LineX'ed and a B&W hitch tomorrow.

Very nice truck buddy, I traded in my 07 300 srt8 for my 2010 3500 pick-up. On the few nice days we get up here I sure miss the car, but the rest of the year, not a chance. I owned the car for 3 1/2years and only put on 15000miles, my truck I've put on 30000miles so far.
I've only had the truck three days now but, I'm realizing I should have done this 2 1/2 years ago.

Good looking trucks fellas!
Dodgeworks, Welcome to the DTR!
What type/size tires is that?
I like the flare too. Thinking of doing the same with mine when its time for tires.

Cooper Discoverer S/T 235/85 17". I prefer to buy new tires in the fall so they are good for the winter and then burn off what's left of 'em in the summer. But I got this truck in the spring and within a year they were gone. Not bad for factory A/S tires, but I go with the highest weight capacity 10 ply and most aggressive I can find as I never know what kind of hellhole I'm gonna be in next. From Winter Roads to Prairie Gumbo I seem to have a knack for finding the worst of it.

Posted these today in the HO thread. Should have posted here first.
Just got mine 2 weeks ago. Really love it. Here are some pics from a 700 mile trip dropping our daughter off at college. The "lie-a-meter" said 17.7 mpg on the first leg which had alot a small mountain passes and running 80 mph. Coming back it said 19.0 mpg running closer to 70 mph. I did not check it using miles driven vs gallons used. Should have but forgot. I'll check it later and report back. I am quite sure based on miles driven between fillups, it was better especially going up grades at 70-80 mph than my 5.7 Sequioa.
I really liked the ease of acceleration up the hills without a down shift.
Looking forward to being able to say, "I didn't even know it was behind me" when towing the boat.
Now just to soften up the ride a little when empty !
