Hello All,

I took my 2012 Ram 3500 to get some mulch on a windy day. Needless to say the HVAC system now smells like mulch. I need to clean it to get the odor out.

Where is the intake for the HVAC system?

 

The intake is between the firewall and the windshield on the outside passenger side, you'll see a plastic mesh, chances are that the dust has made it's way into the heater plenum and will take some getting out, you need to do this mod ASAP. yes I have been talking to my wife about doing this mod. want to see what I can do to clean out the dust. Where to start.

 

thought the 12's already had this done from factory? I did it on my 11. world of difference

 

2013 Laramie didn't have one.

 

thanks for the heads up. My brother had to do the filter mod on his 2013.
