Extang Evolution Tonneau Review

Hey fellas,

Just installed one on my truck. Installation was pretty straight forward, even though the directions left something to be desired. The hardest part was cutting the plastic bed rail cover. I broke two of the plastic clips when I pulled it off. Once you take it off the bed rail is full of holes, instead of being a solid piece of metal. Well, here are the pics:

Hopefully it will get me a couple tenths in the mpg department.

Is it supposed to stick up in the very back? or is it not completely installed? seems like it should be flush along the entire bed length

That's the way it is designed. With how the tailgate is designed it won't fit flush. The 4th Gen tailgate has this built in spoiler/lip into the tailgate to supposedly help aerodynamics.

Reason why I bought it is to protect my hitch from the elements. So far though my mpg are up .4 so i'm happy about that.
