Cluster replacement
Cluster replacement
So I am the good owner, truck says oil change due so I go to the dealer for an oil change. Dealer does oil change, i go to leave and truck still says oil change due. Back in I go and ask if someone could reset the oil change light. They laugh oh yeah, you could do it but we'll end someone out to do it for you. Lot man comes out, can't do it, gets the service tech, he can't do it, shop manager comes out, he can't do it, bring truck into shop hook up computer, still can't do it.
So they tell me they have to order a new "cluster" and it's covered by warranty, should take a week to come in. All good until I get a phone call a couple of hours later and they tell me that the truck needs to be at the dealer & stay at the dealer while the part is on order because the "cluster" does something with the odometer and they have to order the new one with the exact mileage set by the vendor.
In a word this sucks !
I am waiting to hear from Dodge as I type this.

OK, I like to be fair & honest with everyone, the Dealer gave me the number for Dodge Customer Service and suggested that I call them. I called and to Dodge's credit they agreed to pay for a rental vehicle while mine was waiting for a new cluster.
Once again, gotta give props to Dodge & the Dealer, Greenfield Dodge in Trenton NJ.
