Cal?

Started my truck yesterday, got about a mile down the road and noticed in my display on the dash it said "CAL" it did this for about 5 or 6 miles then went away. I assume it has to do with the compass, but why would it just come on?

Compass Calibration?

We do those on helicopters but now pickups. Man, I guess I got what I paid for.

Wonder what happens when it fails$$$$$$$ Also, where the (EDIT) is the actual compass at?

Blake- This is what I thought but, it does it automatically?? I know in previous ones I've calibrated theres a procedure in the manual to follow (select zone of vehicle, do circles ect....). Is this correct it automatically updates?

Thanks again
