Ball Joint install question

I just about have all tools and parts to install ball joints and axle ujoints. I received the Dynatrac ball joints today and picked up the ujoints from dealer. (only place that had them in stock-on national backorder) Will pick up 1-11/16 socket and breaker bar, and find a torque wrench that goes up to 270+ lbs tomorrow! The questions I have, after installing the ball joints there is a 2 stage torque for the lower joint, at what point do you re-torque the final sequence?

Lower Ball Joint Nut Initial Torque 35ftlbs
Lower Ball Joint Nut Final Torque 148ftlbs

And the ujoints are sealed, after pulling off cap it didn't seem like a lot of grease in cup. Is this the way it should be? Or should I add some?

A little side note: After calling across the country for axle ujoints, was informed the spicer DS U925 and spicer 5006813 (same part) would not fit the 2010 and up Dodge trucks as is stated in a few post I have read. Was told by the suppliers they had those parts in stock, but those were not for my truck. And at this time they have nothing in stock for my application.

That is what they said for the 03's back in 03. I was able to go to my local parts store and match the u-joints after a few measurements. I bet someone makes u-joints that will fit. If you have a drive line shop in your area that is where I would start if you wanted a greasable joint.

I would guess you would torque the bottom to the first number, torque the top to spec and finish with the bottom.
