Back in a Ram Diesel!!

Well I have been away for a little while....3 months to be exact! Went to a 2500 Chevy gasser and I was in pain! Just picked up a 2011 2500 4x4 mega cab Lonestar edition with the 6.7 and love the big cab, and being back in a diesel! Only drawback I have is that it doesn't have tow mirrors! Where can I get some for a decent price, and do they make them without the power folding option? Also this truck seems to sit alot taller than my 07! What is the tallest tire I can put on without rubbing of course, and without putting a spacer on? Thanks Jason

I have 305/70/17 on mine on stock wheels, no rubbing what so ever, my buddy has 315/70/17 on his and they rub the control arm a little

Welcome back! Good choice. I didn't know they came with anything other than the flip up tow mirrors??? That's all I have ever seen. **** or Shaffenaker should make them I would think.

You might be surprised when you pull the door panels. There might be all the wiring there for the factory heated flip up tow mirrors. If you buy a set new from Dodge its almost the same price as buying a single one.
I bet you can find the switch/harness and the panel for in the door arm rest area at a wrecker.

you won't need mirrors for that kubota chair. nothing will be behind you from going so slow anyways

We got a whole fleet (10+) of 2011's working on the Xray crew on this job. All 2500 Big Horn Cummins. Not a single one has tow mirrors. Kinda surprised me.

I think I will flip mine up when you are parked next to me, just to make you think about it a little more. You better get some steps first or buy your wife a ladder!
