Looked at a nice black 2500 '09 last week when i was in for an oil change. as surprised hte sticker price was only 58k (Can$) and it had side steps, and 2 or 3 other goodies for that. so that wasnt even a bare bones price.
i wanted to sit in it and drive a but but the salesman was with someone then being a fart and a mitt around the dealership so i never did ask him

I ordered a 3500 SRW a few weeks ago, Laramie with just about everything on it. Dealer has serial # now, so in a few weeks I'll take it for a test drive.

What price did you get? I was thinking about waiting to see what comes off the trailer. You can find Ram Jams (Canadian stuff ehh), for less that $52k, that almost everything that a Laramie. I wonder how much difference the suspension is from last year? How long till decent lift kit comes out?

Mike:

No pricing available yet.

For us who buy at the beginning of the model year, we will pay without the larger incentives that usually comes later.

I'll get the proper price though.

Is there any word on the 2010's towing capabilities? Hauling capabilities?

Based on what I have seen in the press the new body is not to my liking at all. I don't care for the interior either.

I buy one every two years so, I am in the replacement cycle for 2010. I care more about the motor, tranny and running gear reliability/durability than looks so I'll have to live with its styling.

My 08' 6.7 has been trouble free (so far) and after AV flash it's better. Fuel mileage was marginally better after the flash. Overhead says 18-19 mpg at western interstate speed, 13-14 towing. I'm not complaining.

There's no one here to notice its looks anyway. I just hope the 2010 is as good a truck in rough country as the 08' has been.

The only major change for the 2010 is the body style. No urea on the pick-ups.C/Cs only.
The tstat temp has been increased from the current 190 to 200 degrees. The trans and engine controllers were separate before now they will be in one box.The fuel filter has been changed to be a top loader again for easier servicing,The 2010 will be able to get a stationary regen at the dealer instead of the old way of having to drive it for the forced regen

Thanks Bob for the insight. I was wondering about that.

Good news on the top loader fuel filter. That'll help. Any drive train suspension changes?

WOW they are expensive and complicated. Congrats to anyone who get a new truck i do like the look but hate the drive train. I'll stick with my 03 and 99 or buy a gasser and drop a 12v in it.

Some "New" info on the 2010 HD

Was over on dodgetalk.com reading info on the wife's Durango. (By the way she already said no to a new truck for me )

Yesterday they hosted an answer and question session with Dodge engineers specifically on the 2010 HD.
