2012 3500 dually and severe stonechips

I have a 3500 dually with 4000km now on the clock. It has severe stonechips on both dually flares and all underside the rockers up to the front tires.

The dealer installed the mudflaps both front and rear before I drive the truck off the lot.

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

The truck is an SLT and does not have the fender flares that the lariat's and long horn's come with although I doubt that's the issue here

Any info would be great.

I have a 2011 Dually, same setup. Stock tires, factory mud flaps front and rear. My fenders look like their 3 years old already. Kinda pisses a guy off. Our roads aren't the best here anyway so what can yah do. I would like to put the factory fender flares on...Before next winter.

had same problem with mine witch has fact. fender flair, changed tires & mud flaps still no good. Had a deer run in to side of me so the box was re painted on one side. Truck was taken down to a decal shop and i had a clear wrap put on the front half of the fenders, just like the tiney factory things that are on your box now. It looks good only can see slight less shine in sun where plastic is instaled, would rather see this than all the stone chips in the fenders witch got bigger when i ran in rain.

i have that problem too. the generals throw stones like crazy. i cant believe how bad it is though. the other thing that is weird is the color under the chipped paint. it looks like bare metal compared to my 05.

Hmmm I just picked up my 12 dually with the Generals on it. Definitely a more aggressive tread that the other truck. I may have to look into the "Invisible Bra" coating. Several places around here offer it so I may consider vetting the back quarters covered.
