2012 2500 Steering Question

I have a 2012 2500 Bighorn SLT with about 37,000 miles. I've noticed that when I hit a bump or making a turn there is a "little pop" in the steering wheel. Almost like something is loose.

The truck holds pretty straight and doesn't pull when driving down the road, but I know that as soon as I hit a bump I will have this "feeling" in the steering wheel.

Thinking about taking it into the dealer - although I'm scared of dealers, I always feel like I was just taken to the cleaners when I'm done even if it was for something small.

As not to waist mine or the dealers time, where should I start? To me, being totally non-mechanic, I feel like it is something to do with the gear box...

Well it was bugging me enough that I dropped her off at the dealer this morning. We will see what they come back with.

If 4X4 make sure they do the N49 recall while your truck is in there.

What is the N49 recall and what year/model truck does it apply to? All 4x4's regardless of year? 1500, 2500, and 3500?
