Observation: Looks like the Mopar one goes on the outside of the grill. The Covercraft version from Genos is half the price but goes inside of the grill, which looks like a pain to install unless you buy the grill quick-release kit as well. Anyone have an opinion on which way to go?

I like the external one because it still allows for more airflow...I guess it depends on what temps you operate at and what type of driving...I'm in Tx so it really doesn't matter for me

It really only takes less than 5 min's to remove the front grill. Although I like the idea of the internal cover, such as the 3rd gen MOPAR units, I'm starting to like the external more as it protect the grill from all the flying gravel that kicks up from other vehicles.

I haven't seen an internal one installed but to me it seems it would be up against the AC condenser. This will cause high head pressures in the system as the compressor will run in defrost until the LP sw cuts it out.

I'm always leery of putting something like that on the outside where dirt and stuff can get between it and the painted grill....
