Tuner G56 compatible

About to smash my head into the wall......

I am looking for a reasonably priced tuner for my '12, G56 CTD.

I found a bunch. But as I get excited ready to purchase I read down the application chart, works on 2012, great.... but at the very bottom "will not work on manual trans" Awesome!!

I am sure there is a great tuner out there. Can someone chime in please? I am ready for the deletes and a custom stack.

My son used the mini maxx on his 2011 G56 truck with no issues tuner wise, he let it go with the truck.

The mini maxx states use only on vehicles with factory emissions remaining intact. I am trashing all of my emissions equipment. Love florida lack of inspections.

You know it took awhile back in '07 for them to release a 5.9 G-56 unit. It set off a CEL and Marco had a fix in 24 hrs. I would imagine he's hard at work breaking the puzzle of the 14's.
Seven yrs now without a hitch though.

It was the exact same one I'm using on my 2011 with the 68RFE, I got them both at the same time. I'll get the model number tomorrow.

No other tuners come to mind fellas? Limited to the mini maxx if tech says cool? I like choices too. Efi live says no manuals as well. Gonna try to contact banks and see what they offer tomorrow.

doe they say why you can use it with a manual truck? my truck in my sig has the g56 and i ran the smarty JR with the dpf delete . but now i have the XRT pro with mcc tuning. the only thing is you will have to find a used smarty jr, because they only make street tuners now.

Running the H&S MiniMaxx on my '08 with the G56. No issues here other than some noise from the turbo when I crush the skinny pedal (it's something I'm investigating as to why).

Mine is full delete capable but I'm not running it that why.

I got an email from h&s tech. All of their products will work for my truck. I guess you can enter in manual or auto in the menu. Going to contact edge next. I like their options and on screen systems monitoring.

Both the Smarty S67 and J67 work for deleting (as long as they are delete capable which DOES NOT have US in the serial number). The H&S boxes work for deleting.
With a manual truck, be prepared to replace the clutch real soon!
