Tell me about it, when it was -40, the dpf could never get hot enough to complete a regen while in town. Even on the highway, it would regen every 60 miles. Glad I have multiple copied backed up of my smarty files.

Someone soon will get smart and doing what the Chevy guys do and modifying the actual ECU!!

I bought my wife a 2012 Jetta TDI and had my factory ECU modified with a very well know European company. I picked up 80hp/120tq and let me tell you this thing gets 49.5mpg and will smoke a stock new Mustang!!

Anyway, not an issue for me but it is an issue cause I was considering a new truck as a spare vehicle and now I will hold off
