I have a 2012 h.o. I was wondering if I can control the vgt with the smarty... I noticed in the instructions that it said it wasn't available for my2010 and newer... but it seems like on smarty resource it seems like you can......[tapdshut

No, at least on my 08 I can not control the VGT with my Smarty.

I sorry that I miss led you, I went back and checked my notes on my Smarty install that I did. And I should not rely on my memory should always check my facts first.

Yes; you can change the VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) TQ (Torque Mismanagement) which I have on 2 and the rail pressure settings. I am running the other two on default which is established by the Smarty program. I updated the Smarty in Nov, 10 to the 23ME CaTCHER level 3 software and I have not changed since. My truck seems to like this set-up and I tow my 5er with this set-up also.
