Sent Bob Wagner an e/mail last month but got no answer.

Thanks Bob,
Does his include the blocked 90 ecm also.
Actually looking harder at the 09's. 2010 body style is starting to turn me off.

Saw where Smarty broke the code for the later 09's (built after March).
Is that the same ECM "encryption" as the 2010's or are they a 'whole nother country'?

Im sure Marco is hard at it. If they figured the way around the '09 boot loader then its just a matter of time till they crack the '10's.

Rowj, there a thread on the cummins forum.
http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/6-...formation.html
Its give a pretty decent run down on the smarty program for the 6.7L
The only stuff out (sorta out) is the edge CT/CTS module for the 2010. The new truck needs some serious tweaking to keep-up with my old truck. I can't even find a monitor system for the truck yet. Its going to feel weird to tow my RV with the newer truck with no gauges If I run gauges, my local dealer will flag my truck. Been there, done that before. Ah.. the warranty game.
I want to install a water/meth spray system down the road at some point, just to cool everything off when I tow.

Thanks Mike! Great read.
Plans for 2010 on hold.
Being picky but discovered the front door on the Mega Cab is same size (length) as on the Club Cab.
By comparison the door on my 02 Ext Cab is 11" longer!!!!
Leg room is the same as on my 02 (that's good) but the problem is the door post.
For us oversized guys....I'm 6-7"..... the post ends up right next to my left ear and blocks my sideview.
Minor point...maybe. But it is less than ideal, feels confining, restricts visibility and is enough to make me rethink things.
Standard Cab is same sized door as my 02..... and that gives me a true long bed....... so there is some hope.
Maybe, if I can live with no back seat?

My 2008 1500 quad cab hemi lease truck was done, so I had to replace it this year. This year I decided to get a diesel, abit more money, but a lot more truck. The ride is way softer than my 02 and the brakes are awesome. I don't like all that emission stuff, but who does. Might just get a destroked zeus ecm and be done with all that extra parts under the hood. I couldn't find to many decent 07-09 6.7L around where I lived, so I went with a new ride. The back seat seems bigger than my 2008 quad cab truck. My old 2008 tonneau cover will not fit on the 2010, as the 2010 tailgate has a goofy design. I use my truck for work (2010 interior is way too fancy to jump in with my work coveralls on) and I need a tonneau hard cover. Everything about the new truck is about throwing big bucks at it. From trailer hitchs, gauges, programers, tonneau covers... With the 02, I just just in and drive.
Good luck on your new truck search, I know you been looking for awhile.

Sitting in your 2010, does it feel like comparible leg room to your 02.
It's measures the same, best I can tell, but feels like less to me.
Something feels more constricted but can't decide what, probable because I don't have more than a few minutes driving the 2010.
