Help please

I recently purchased my 2010 3500 6.7 diesel. Already put the H&S mini maxx, dpf/egr delete, and AFE stage 2 intake. Did some other stereo stuff and blacked out all the lights. Just wondering if there are custom tunes for the H&S and if so where. Wondering what everyone is doing to gain mpg's. I dont care about crazy power. I just haul a 7x16 enclosed with 4 dirtbikes and gear to our races and it pulls it like there is nothing back there. Just wanting to see if I can break into the 20mpg's like I have seen some other guys post about. Also wondering what exhaust some guys are running. I dont want it crazy loud in the cab but I'm wanting to get that tractor trailer deep sound out of it. My dad has a peterbuilt with the 400 cummins and it has this awesome deep sound and I have heard a dodge similar to mine that sounded close but it was just in passing so couldnt talk to him. I have heard if you put the 2nd gen intake on from the 5.9 it makes it a lil deeper but I am new to this diesel stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, lot of conflicting stuff for ya here.

Milage, run a higher tune on the H&S and just be careful on the right foot. The timing is what gives the better mileage, and that comes with the higher tunes.

Exhaust note, 5" will give it a nice sound but not be too loud.

To get that 24valve sound of old, you have to do a 2nd gen swap with an aftermarket turbo. Just an exhaust wont do it. Quite a bit of work, not too complicated but, a good job indeed.

Im gonna do a 2nd gen swap on mine when I get back home in April, well, God willing and the creek dont rise. Never know nowadays.

Welcome to the DTR and if you have any other questions please ask.

Thanks for the reply. I ran it on mild on our trip down to GA and got 14ish mpg's and then ran wild and got almost 18 on the way back. Decided to leave it on wild haha. Going to get the new tranny update next.

if you got 18 towing, you are doing well! the biggest factor is, as Blake said, your right foot.
