- HBS Steering Stabilizer - $159.95
- HBS Upper & Lower Adjustable Control Arms - $748
- Bilstein 5100 Series Steering Damper - $85
- Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks - $350

The look on my wife's face when I tell her I spent another $1350 on top of the $3K I've already spent modifying my BRAND NEW truck....

Priceless. And terrifying.

But it's almost Christmas, right?

Oh...and let's not forget the 1" lift it I've decided I need for the rear. With the leveling kit up front I've decided the rear needs to go up some.

I would just run a rear air bag set-up. That way you get the extra carrying capacity. If you go with control arms and 5100's, I would buy longer softer springs and sell the spacers myself. The bilsteins are nice, a buddy of mine installed 7100's into his 98. I like the springs to allow the bounce on the rough stuff and having a high end shock to dampen out the ride. The factory ride is great on smooth hiways, just about uncontrollable in the rough stuff.

Easier on the body during those long rough drives.

Its pretty easy to spend money of these trucks.

Air bags?

So, I haven't researched air bags yet, but I imagine they work similarly to the adjustable air shocks I once put on a Chevy S-10 so it wouldn't drag the bumper when I pulled my dad's boat with it. Am I correct in saying that air bags would be adjustable and would not only raise the rear end but would also prevent it from sagging when I haul heavy?

Thanks! Aside from fuel mileage I'm extremely pleased with it, but since the majority of fuel is paid for by my employer I don't fret over it too much.

Hoss,

I just pulled the trigger on a set of 35" Falkens and the 2.5 Hell Bent leveling kit. What kind of millage are you getting on your rig now that you have had it for a while? I think I was getting about 16 to 17 mpg with the original OEM tires.

Thanks,

Tman
