H&S, and Smarty tuners

will these delete the EGR and DPF without having to take apart the Whole canisters under the truck?

Yes, you can unplug and turn off the EGR as well as the regeneration cycle with the H&S. Go to their website and check it out. It says they do but I am waiting for SMARTY

No need to unplug the EGR with H&S software on a 2010+. The DPF delete programming allows you to remove the DPF and it turns off the EGR. You either leave it plugged in although it is no longer functioning or you can mechanically remove the system to avoid soot buildup in the EGR system altogether.

I am unsure why everyone is waiting fo rthe Smarty. H&S has a huge head start on Smarty on the 4th Gen trucks so I would be surprised to see any miracles from the Mads camp. H&S just released a bunch of new tunes for our trucks earlier this week that make my truck run like a raped ape and it also turned of that peasky TPMS system.

I agree that H&S is making some amazing products. Almost every day I search and almost purchase the XRT PRo but have yet to do so. If I do, I am going all out. Exhaust, Tuner, EGR/COOLER delete, fuel rail plug, throttle valve delete, and anything else I can find. Although it seems almost the same just to get a tuner and dpf delete and allow the tuner to disable everything.?

The DPF must be removed to run non-DPF tuning, but the EGR can stay in place and just be turned off.
