I just put a new 68RFE in my ‘16 Ram 3500. First week was fine but now I’m fighting this issue of when shifting from 4-5 it unlocks, shifts, mostly locks, unlocks and rpms go up a bit more then locks for good. It’s not to bad into 5th but a lot more noticeable going into 6th. Downshifting is smooth, and 1-4 into lockup in 4th is really smooth. Has a triple disc T.C. And all upgraded shafts. Has a ATS co-pilot but makes no difference if it’s connected or not. Been working with PPEI with tunes and probably put 6-7 different ones they say to try but nothing changes it. I keep getting people saying it’s a “learning” trans. Let it figure it out. It’s been about 1,500 mi. Must be a slow learner... anyone had any experience with this before? My trans I had in it previously shifted smooth all the way up into 6th and was running all the same stuff I have now.
