Deleting 2010 dodge
I have been debating for few months now about deleting. My truck is 3 years old and just ran out of standard warranty. It has around 27k on it I only drive it web it's pulling trailers and other work. But I'm mainly wanting fuel mpg. Cause the best I get is 14 - 16. Lol and in Texas the speed limit is 75 on the Interstate. That being said my mpg sucks endless I am going 65. What is my best option to get best fuel mpg . I've heard that deleting the pipe and h&s programmer is the best. I dont want to kill my tranny cause I will be pulling heavy loads sometimes. My options and your opinions would be great appreciated. Thanks
I also have a 2010. I recomend a H&S programmer with the overdrive trans tuning. The trans tuning makes a world of difference by raising trans pressure and changing shift points to let the engine work better. Along with getting a programmer I would do an EGR/cooler delete and get rid of the exhaust dpf and cat. I increased my mileage into the 20mpg range in my dually and wakes my truck up. I have never looked back from deleting.
