This is my first post here and thought I'd jump right in with one of my most pressing questions.

I've purchased a 2014 Ram 3500 with 6.7 and standard 6-speed. I am running a 3.73 differential ratio and need higher final speeds with higher gearing. After doing the math, I've come up with a gain of ~8 mph at the same engine RPM with a change to a 3.42 gearing that is available.

The problem is cost. Would anyone know if there a more reasonable way to change out this ring and pinion than by going with MoPar at >$3000.00?

As the 3.42 gear set is the only one available in a 3500 SRW Aisin truck believe it or not there are some people out there that want a 3.73 I don't know why but why not look for someone that wants to swap.
