I am getting ready to order a tuner this week. If you all could give me some input on this purchase it would be of great help. I would like your opinions on what the best tuner is for a 2010 Ram 3500 and why. I am looking for a tuner to help with fuel mileage and to give me better towing performance. I currently cant swing a full delete for a few more months but plan on doing so when the additional funds come in. So the tuner will have to be DPF friendly and be able to either down load a DPF delete tune later or already have one installed. Thanks for any input.





I currently drive a 2010 Ram 3500 CC DRW with a 6 speed manual trans.

 

I went with H&S for my tuner. I did the XRT PRO, down pipe, dpf delete pipe and EGR/Cooler delete. I could not be happier with the results. It woke the truck up with no issues. The H&S tuners can be used with or without deletes. I aam getting about 18-19 highway in my truck with full deletes and lowest tune. Some people go ahead and get the H&S mini max which has a defuel program built in and gauges. The XRT PRO is the same without these options so it si up to your prefrence. I was a SMARTY guy, but they little behind on the 4th GENs due to the programming. They do have the Smarty JR out for the 2010 but have not heard how it does so far on the 4th GEN. My suggestion is anything with H&S and do the deletes for sure.

Thank you for the input, I ended up with a smarty jr."S" that I bought off my friend after he just totaled out his 2010 2500. Hopefully I will see your kind of numbers once I get a chance to delete everything.

 

Keep us informed of how it goes. I have been thinking of deleting my 2010 3/4 ton but am holding out for warranty. But interested in how it turns out for you.
