Need some advice here, I have a dpf deleted 6.7 with h&s mini max, my next things I would like to do is install a s&b cold air intake but am also wondering how restrictive the intake elbow on intake manifold is along with the Intercooler tubes? Are these worth changing? Would they help lower egt's? Any other mods to help spool up time, lower egts on these 6.7's, would also like to keep grid heater are there elbows that allow you to still use the grid heater? Thanks

 

Keeping the grid heater means whatever intake you use all the air has to squeeze down to the grid heater dimension. However the H&S intake is not only larger but has a gentler curve to it, H&S also sells a larger diameter boost tube from the outlet of the inter cooler to match the intake horn. Replacing the intake manifold means you don't need to buy the EGR valve delete kit.
