Vibration Under Load

2010 Ram 3500 6.7L 389,000 miles…….
The last trip I took with my truck and 5th wheel was down into Arkansas. As we got into the northwest Arkansas hills I felt a vibration in the steering wheel as we were powering up the hills (on the interstate). The further we “climbed”, the more throttle I applied as would be expected, but with more throttle and climb the vibration became severe, to the point I was concerned whether or not we’d pull the crest of the hill. This was the case on each Arkansas hill we encountered. When we reached our stopping point, I checked the u-joints and the almost new carrier bearing and all seemed good. I did have a new (not rebuilt) turbo installed shortly before this run.
I might add that I am very **** about the maintenance of my truck, i.e.: transmission, transfer case, and differentials drained, and re-filled every 30,000 miles (including transmission filter); oil and filter every 5,000 miles; coolant drain and flush every 60,000 miles, etc., etc.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Did you ever figure this out? I had the same issue and it was the carrier bearing. Looks fine while sitting parked, when I pulled it, the damage was evident.
