Transmission not shifting right after deletes

My truck 2011 outdoorsman 3/4 cc, did full deletes this weekend, have a mini max also put 5" from turbo back. When I drive my truck it seems like its not shifting at the right RPM. in the mini max book there is a little bit of info on training your transmision. Is this the last step to all my installs?

Thanks for any help, I have been reading for months and took the plunge thanks to everyones post on this site. Thanks again for all the great information on this site

Welcome aboard! Sorry I cannot help, I never did delete my 6.7. Hopefully someone comes along soon to answer your concerns. Lots of folks out enjoying the long weekend I suppose.

Can you be more specific? Did you purchase the transmission tuning with the mini maxx? Are you 100% positive that the vacuum lines that were connected to the exhaust are removed?

Did you load the transmission tune too? If so, it shifts at higher speeds.

Good morning, no I didn't installing or buy the trsnny programming. The two rubber hose lines buy the transmission the book didn't say what to do with them so I stuck a bolt in both of the and put the retaining clamp back on over the bolts. It seems like the fanny is shifting sooner then it was before the deletes. Makes the motor lug more if you aren't on the pedal all the time. I did play arou.d a little and fou.d if I run it in mild or higher settings it is much better and shifts almost where it should. I also read more on training the tranny in the back of the book. What it said is Ford and Chevy need to refrain there trannys but nothing on the dodge about it. So I guess its not needed for dodge onwers. Another I leaned as none of my programing was taking to the truck. Wouldn't reset dtc's wouldn't change any setting tell the dri era door was shut.

Again I want to say thanks forany and all the help I get.

the transmission will have to learn the adaptives again (how you drive). it will take a few days. just drive it like you always have and the TCM will "relearn" the adaptives.

as for the hoses on the passenger side of the bell housing of the trans, that is the pressure sensor for the DPF. you are fine with shoving a couple bolts in there to keep dirt out. has nothing to do with the trans shifting ect. that sensor is for measuring pressure pre and post DPF. if pre dpf psi is too great, it goes into regen to clear things up.

welcome to the club!

Droid. . . Got one, but it's a cell phone. at 63 who gives a butt hair. LOL

That's the delta P for the DPF on the trans. No relation. Mine is still in place.

If that's the case, can you be a bit more descriptive as to what you are experiencing?

Use a laptop this time

Thanks. Will keep driving as I always have. It does seem like the more I drive it the better it gets. I can not belive the power and how responsive the truck now is. They should not be allowed to put all that crap on the newer trucks. I was on the edge with doing the deletes with only 1250 miles on a $50k dollar truck. With all the reading and information from this site it really helped me make up my mind.

Thanks for the help and amount of support and information you offer your memebrs. I am soon going to join as a paying memeber as I don't want to ever lose this free information.

Some others are saying that was fine to keep dirt out of the lines. You are the first to say takethem out. I will try it and go for a thick drive. It wont hurt to try it.

Thanks

^^^^^ Why do the bolts have to be taken out? I have bolts in mine for over a year with no issues (yes, mines a 2007, but same engine and emissions junk). As far as I can see those are just pressure lines sensing the pressure difference between the front and back of the dfp.

I have no idea but it was a problem. Read the tutorial, it says the same thing. Again, I have no answer but it healed all my issues.
