Towing increase for real?!?!?

Towing increase for real?!?!?

I just went on the Dodge Body Builder site, to check some numbers before my truck (that got ordered this week) comes in. It would appear, that the new GCWR and Max Trailer numbers are official. My 3500 Crew Cab 4x4 DRW w/ the 4.10 axle now has a GVWR of 12,300 (+ 100 lbs), the GCWR is at 29,000 (+3,500/4,500 lbs) and max trailer of 20,800 lbs (+4,000 lbs)!!!! It doesn't say with a max tow package or anything....so is this it?!??!?!

Max numbers on rear hitches are always with WD. Don't go there without it.

AND I would NOT go there with the stock hitch.

I'm aware of the hitch rating...I was just saying that it's official that the ratings have been increased. Does anyone know if this means that any truck that is ordered now will have the HO Cummins and the increased tow rating?? Or will it require a "Max Tow" package and will the HO Cummins be an "Available option"???
