I have had a ram since 04 and the new fifth wheel trailer I bought last summer was at the limits of the DRW 2012 ram's payload with a pin weight of 2,700 lbs by comparison the Ford F250's payload was close to beating the Dodge DRW, so it is about time that Dodge got on board with increased payloads. Also if I bought a Ford my Dad, a Ford guy would have been rolling over in his grave laughing. I am not a Ford guy.

I guess you haven't seen the '13 3500's payload capacity...

Reg Cab SRW 3500 payloads are now 4000 lbs +. DRW is 6000 lbs +.

Truth be known, folks have been pulling these weights for a while with these trucks. They finally rated the for what they will do and did the mods most folks due so they will hold up.

I started looking at new trucks winter 2011 and Ram's payloads were not there. I am hoping that the rumours are correct about the new gvwr/gcvwr and these are not just hot air because I have had no complaints with my CTD, and would like to get by with the 3500 SRW so lets hope it true or it is the competitor for me.

I hope you're talking about the ramtrucks site because dealers have had access to pricing, on dealerconnect, for a few days now...

The list isn't complete because it's not showing all the options, but payload numbers shouldn't be much different then the ones lists... Follow the link to the PDF file form the Rambodybuilder site.

Obviously us being in Canada the information takes that much longer to get down the wire

I should have said.... Because we are in Canada they have to change all the pricing to reflect the $20,000 difference between the final price up here and the price down there, I mean those day time running lights are EXPENSIVE.

Build site up here still shows 2012?? It was the dealers my son was talking about though.
