Safety recall left tie rod

Has anyone dealt with this recall yet? L16 tie rod recall.

It reads " The left tie rod ball stud on your truck may fracture under certain driving conditons. This could cause a loss of directional control and/or a crash without warning . Also the front axle track bar bolt torque must be checked and tightened if required"

I really hate to take the truck into the dealer for this stuff but know I need to get it checked off. I hope my truck doesnt need anything but a quick visual and a rubber stamp saying its fine. Otherwise I have somebody monkeying around with tie rods and alignment
Just dont like other people working on the truck.. they just dont care like we do.

Got mine in the mail, so I've got to call it in soon. Theres a dealer about 40 miles away thats mod friendly, going there if I can.

We've got a thread going on in the non-drivetrain forum:

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...e-t301143.html

Probably could be a sticky like other recall threads in the past.
