Safety recall left tie rod
Safety recall left tie rod
Has anyone dealt with this recall yet? L16 tie rod recall.
It reads " The left tie rod ball stud on your truck may fracture under certain driving conditons. This could cause a loss of directional control and/or a crash without warning
. Also the front axle track bar bolt torque must be checked and tightened if required"
I really hate to take the truck into the dealer for this stuff but know I need to get it checked off. I hope my truck doesnt need anything but a quick visual and a rubber stamp saying its fine. Otherwise I have somebody monkeying around with tie rods and alignment
Just dont like other people working on the truck.. they just dont care like we do.

We've got a thread going on in the non-drivetrain forum:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...e-t301143.html
Probably could be a sticky like other recall threads in the past.
