front axle lube interval

I know you are suppose to lube the front universal joint on every oil change, but does it really need it every time? Cant imagine that after 5000 miles, the lube in that joint needs refreshing.

Is there a universal joint replacement that is sealed and doesnt need to be lubed?

Thx

You've got greasable U-Joint? If you do, that's news to me.. The only section, I'm aware of that is greasable, is the CV joint and you need a needle adapter to do it..

BTW, most people want greasbles ... In fact, Mopar just announced greaseble u-joints...
