Since I've had my 2012, approximately 15k miles so far, the coolant temp seems to fluctuate more than any other vehicle I've owned... Coming up to temp initially, it will usually run all the way up to 208-212, and then drop down to 199-200 as the thermostat obviously opens. But after that, the temp fluctuates between 199-206 constantly, even on long flat stretches running empty with the cruise control on. Is this typical of what you guys see? I've never had a digital temp gauge in a vehicle before, so maybe it's just too accurate for it's own good

 

I wouldn’t worry about it at all.

 

Mine will constantly be between 190-200

 

Sounds right to me. Mine runs between 200-204 on the flats @ 75 mph.

 

Mine usually runs between 188-194.
