I was on my way home from the family farm and was on a major highway with my cruise control set. I was in the curb lane and went to pass a slow moving motor home and hit the accelerator pedal and all of a sudden my truck went crazy and started to really speed up, with the engine really revving. I had to hit the brake pedal twice before the truck started to slow. I checked my EVIC and saw a message that only lasted a few seconds which said "Service Electronic Throttle". I only have just over a thousand Kms on this truck. I will take it into the dealer in the morning and see what gives. I have the Aisin tranny but don't know if this has anything to do with it. Anyone else have this experience? It sure got my attention in the heavy traffic.
