my buddy is doing the full deletes to his 2011 as soon as the smarty is released in a few weeks, but needs to know what exhaust will fit? will the 04.5 + 5.9 exhaust systems fit the new style trucks? oh, the dealer knows what hes doing and says he saw nothing he just cant live with this fuel milage

Why not just stick a delete pipe in..

 

i told him the muffler was strait through but he wants a 5" with a 6" tip.. oh well its his money .. lol

 

I have the 5" from H n S and love it, did full deletes, and it runs like a brand new truck. Lil drony around 2500rpm, but wouldnt have it any other way.

 

what year is yours and how much better on fuel did it get?

 

i did the full deletes this weekend on my buddys 2010 (he told me it was a 2011) with the H&S egr/cooler delete kit, full 5" magnaflow exhaust, airaid intake kit, and smarty jr.. holy crap what a difference in power and sound! it sounds like a cross between a 12v and a 5.9 common rail, nice and deep out the pipe, but quiet inside.. we should know more about the fuel milage gains later this week, but even without the milage increase its definately a nicer truck to drive.. its only on the first power setting but its a major difference..
