what is the difference between the two engines besides the added torque . are they the same engine with some sort of different settings is there a way to make the 8oo pounds of torque from 650 fpt engine without voiding the warranty?

 

The transmission was upgraded slightly too (tighter torque converter if I remember correctly). So no, there isn't a way to upgrate to the HO without voiding the warranty. That said, the 68RFE does pretty well with slightly more-than-stock power if you don't abuse it, and you're probably nearing the end of your warranty anyway- so delete away!

 

well I got 60000 miles on it. im guessing warranty still runs to 100000 on some things at least it did on my 05 and 08 duallies unless im wrong

 

I have an 11 3500 st electric locks but no keyless entry. I want to b able to open the doors like I did on my old laramies is it as simple as buying a key fob and having it programmed ? And do I need to buy fob from dealer?

 

Just have an aftermarket remote starter installed and get them to wire the door unlock.
