There is an awesome video on U-Tube about drilling the hole into the manifold. The guy who did it just let the vehicle run and it blew every bit of the shavings out as the drill bit broke the surface of the manifold. Once the bit was through he shut the truck off, put a thick grease on the tap and spun it in. Used a magnet, I think to get the shavings out of the threads before putting the pyro in.

Think it will work?

Yes, I forgot to say you should have have the truck running, just to make sure. Just don't get in a hurry.

Thanks and I won't be in a hurry. My buddy is an Aircraft metalsmith with approx. 14yrs in the Marine Corps. Since I have never done something like this he will probably be the one actually drilling/threading. I will be the to ensure Quality!! HAHA.
