Shocks and steering stabilizer for 4500?

Ok, so what aftermarket shocks are you using on your 4500/5500? Wanting to buy Bilsteins, but when I try searching for this size of truck nothing pulls up. Need something really good, mainly for the fronts right now. Drive a fair amount of gravel roads, along with a ton of highway. Any suggestions are great, thanks!

So no one has replaced shocks yet on these trucks? I want to order some to see if it'll take out a bad vibration just before 70mph, after 70 it goes away.

Anyone found anything that works good with these stiffer coil springs? I've tried bilstien 5160, seemed too stiff, and thuren overland shocks, too soft. Bad rides out of both but Overlands worst. Now not sure if I should do the bilstien HD(blue/yello)/ or 5100. Thoughts?

i know this is an old thread, but i'll put my 2 cents in...

I installed Monroe shocks on my Ram 4500 this past summer.

Rear:
65165 Monroe Magnum 65 Class 6 to 8 Truck, Semi Tractor, Trailer Shock Absorber @ $49.91/each

Front:
65164 Monroe Magnum 65 Class 6 to 8 Truck, Semi Tractor, Trailer Shock Absorber @ $49.91/each

Got a grate price from Stengel Bros. Stengel Bros Inc. - Springs, Steering, and Suspension Specialists

Rear shocks super easy to install. Fronts ... **** pain in the butt to do. The rediculous battery trays are a horror show to remove to get at the shock towers. Ended up making alterations to the battery trays when reinstalling.

Shocks work great. Over 8,000 on them now and still feel new to me.
