Can't believe no one has ever tried this.
I recall seeing a picture of a bed done where a spacer was required between bed and cab. Not sure what site and I searched here with no success.

I'm just waiting for my 2009 5500 QC 4X4 to arrive and then I'll be doing it. I already bought a brand new color matching dually bed so I'm in the process of finding someone to make the mounting brackets it will need to work. I am going to call Inovative Customs in Utah to see if they can help me out. I think they can and they do work that looks even better than factory on their Megacab/Longbed conversions. I have my fingers crossed that it should be a peice of cake. Finally I will have my dream truck..........
